High-Performance Teams

A thriving organizational leadership team recognizes that building teams and unifying each team member based on gifts, passions, and talents. Leading to the next level takes focus, creativity, and TIME. The building of teams is what propels kingdom work which allows great collaboration and empowerment to those it leads. When I first joined the staff at our church I found five prayer warriors who could pray, serve, and help me lead the ministry. I invested heavily in their lives, we championed ministry together. Basically, throughout the investment of time, the common purpose of reaching children for Christ was at the forefront of our ministry to the Lord. The teams were established slowly, prayerfully, strategic and with the Holy Spirit leading every step of the way. Prayerfully, carefully, ministering to the multitudes and using our gifts, recognizing the gifts in others and mobilizing them for ministry. Leadership development has been a big part of the Children’s Ministry from the beginning. Needless, did I know how the Lord was going to mobilize the church, however, he did in a magnificent way that the orchestra plays beautifully when everyone is in their gifted area. I prayed for the greatest warriors to join the team and then asked them. In the digital world in which we live the mobilization of the ministry team and strategic planning can be viewed by all.
